Al Wilson and Raynock Thompson were damn good linebackers.

They also benefitted from having guys in front of them that could go 12 deep and dominate.

 

Westmoreland was no slouch either

 

Very underrated. May be the only Vol defender to score a TD in their first game as a true FR.

I don't think Jancek/Willie are world beaters but I was looking through the stats from when they were at UGA and UGA's offenses really were not helping their cause...

49th, 90th, 74th, 22nd, 75th...UGA's ranking in total offense for 2005-2009.

Have to believe Jones is going to be able to do a LOT better than that on the offensive side of the ball with all the weapons we're acquiring.

 

Crompton went from goat to GOAT on them and Kentucky bludgeoned them twice.
