leave it to ssmiff to guide us through the complexities of race in Memphis and pinpoint the origin of trouble to the Ford family.
If Memphis had reached out to the SEC 30 years ago for help in constructing a business model of the sports venues, there is no telling how far that could’ve gone. The even might be in the SEC. Its a good lesson all around, holding on to negativity gets you the island you desired.
Leave it to IP who grew up in all white rural tennessee to not know wtf hes talking about. My experiences in the 70s began with the Ford family
leave it to ssmiff to not know I went to church in Lonsdale growing up. oh right, you wouldn't know that. my bad. now let's count up our black friends and practice our conversational spanish.
Take your shit show shtick back to the politics section. People who are unable to discuss the issues in Memphis are the most ignorant, especially the outsider know it alls
I've yet to understand what we gain from playing a 4 year community college. Until they play by our rules and our rules only I'd rather play the national schedule.
After last year, I don't think Barnes will ever play them in Memphis again. The old recruiting reasons just don't apply anymore.
Wish the band was coming. https://statsbywill.com/2019/11/20/show-me-my-opponent-alabama-state/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
Wiseman gets a dozen games and the NCAA is likely going after Memphis State - https://www.si.com/college/2019/11/20/james-wiseman-ineligible-ruling-ncaa-memphis-penny-hardaway
I cannot stress to you the amount of confidence folks here had that Wiseman was only getting 5-6 games because Memphis held the leverage of "public opinion".
I think Kent saw the writing on the wall. He's just not good enough at this level and would be best served to play somewhere he can contribute.
