Putting yourself in a situation that ends in arrest deserves some consequences even if he ultimately stays on the team.

You get arrested, you get suspended until it's taken care of. That should be standard operating procedure. If...if it's a loud argument and no one was harmed, it's usually taken care of quickly

Surely there's a lawyer out there with enough wealth and free time to make the NCAA's existence miserable. The older I get, the more I despise the college system of football. I mean it's a catch 22. Without the douchebaggery of the NCAA, we don't have college football as we know it, but how the players are forced to remain with teams or face the inconsistent judgement of a ruling body whose rules may as well have been written by pigs on the side of a barn is despicable to me.
