2019 Recruiting Class

If Pruitt has success here I wouldn't be surprised at all if Bama comes knocking. Grew up there, played there, coached there.

 

Hopefully we'll be smart enough to fight to keep him if he is. In other words, he gone.

 

We added a 320 lb OL to the 2018 class named Abercrombie. Seems significant.

After watching that little bit of film they have on him, how in the world did this kid go unnoticed?

Based off the high school he went to, Id say grades. But there are a lot of good players in the Birmingham area that go unnoticed

 

If he's any good, he'll go on scholarship after next spring. He'll count towards the eighty five limit, but not towards a 25 man limit of a recruiting class.

 

Always best getting players that don’t count against the 25 spots in a recruiting class

 

His school has an absolutely terrible graduation rate. Plus no exposure.

Yeah it’s tough. I have a friend that graduated from there and it’s about 50/50 on graduating. That being said, they are usually one of the best teams in their classification.

I view Birmingham very similarly to Memphis in terms of talent/coaching
