I don’t know what to tell you, GCB.

If you think that Obamacare was unpopular with people....wait until they get a load of this shit. I hope it’s a huge plank in every Dem’s platform, and wish them luck with it.

I feel like I'm beating my head against the wall with you. We're not all that far apart on healthcare. M4A has zero chance of happening. Zero. Healthcare in this country is still jacked up and that's a fact. Something needs to happen and right now a *better public option* is the best we have offered to ensure every American is covered without eliminating plans people want to keep. We also have to lower prescription drug prices and cap out of pocket expenses. Come up with a plan we can pay for and do those things and I'll support it.

I think a forced single payor system would be very unpopular.

Hell Denmark and other countries we’re going to be modeling are even going more private due to the inefficiencies of the public model.

Americans are not going to love the increase on taxes that these public programs are going to cause.

Raising the minimum wage is just going to hurt the lowest even more while incentivizing AI even more to take over those jobs.

I have to think your fanboy-ism is affecting you to the point where you make regular stupid points such as this one, thinking the trip to India has anything to do with Indian immigrants scattered across the country and the 2020 election.

Yes, there is always a reason someone does something. I went to the bathroom because I had to take a shit. It doesn't make me a cunning genius. He went to India because they are the world's largest democracy, a significant trading partner and making foreign trips like this is what presidents do.

When asked if the Democratic nominee should be who gets the most votes, some interesting answers emerged:

“Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg: “Whatever the rules of the Democratic Party are, they should be followed.” Chuck Todd clarifies, “So you want the convention to work its will?” and Bloomberg replies, “Yes.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.): “The convention working its will means people have the delegates that are pledged to them and they keep those delegates until you come to the convention, all of the people.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden: “No, let the process work its way out.”

Former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg: “Not necessarily, not till there’s a majority.”

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.): “Let the process work.”

To his credit, only Bernie said flatly - “Yes”.

It’s amusing to me that it’s these the same people who are (stupidly) advocating for the elimination of the Electoral College.

I guess they only want the popular vote sometimes.

Is it possible to set aside in another thread the gibberish fanboy memes and phony facts and figures from Tenny from the real discussion to be had about the election and other political issues?

I saw some interview with him recently saying the entire Democratic party has pretty much lost their collective minds.

This should be obvious. If it’s controversial to say that higher literacy rates and longer life expectancies are good things, and we’re supposed to be insane homers who say everything in America is perfect and everything in countries we don’t like is bad, we’re heading toward Idiocracy.

And absent but one brief moment, Lincoln enjoyed the play.

Kennedy had a nice drive through Dallas.

It was an unseasonably warm day in Nagasaki.

The Titanic’s maiden voyage went perfectly.

Or are you arguing that it’s ok to take the good with the bad? If so, how bad?

I mean, if those literacy programs came at the point of a gun, it must be ok. Reading is good, after all.

It’s good that they can read about all of the shit that they don’t have and don’t need, but still have a plenty of, as per the instructions of their government-sponsored news media.

And it’s easier to afford universal healthcare for all when you’ve culled the herd by killing thousands, I guess. That sneak under the banner of “good”, too?

Ultimately, you’re clearly correct from the hundreds of thousands of Americans who flee the US to the socialistic utopia that is Cuba, right? You’ve seen all of those rafts heading south, haven’t you?

Or just reduce everything down to living in a world where our only two choices are illiteracy and mass murder.

Of course your stupid ass candidates say stupid shit like this, because they’re speaking to tens of retards, such as yourself.

Your posts get less stupid with more white spaces between the words.

I can’t wait to see Bernie’s health records.

I’m glad to see he’s lost weight, of late.

Bernie has forfeited Florida. Both in the Dem primary and the general, assuming he's the nominee.

As usual, you wrote a lot to say absolutely nothing. You’re being the literal equivalent of a “Dooley will be great because UT hired him” sycophant right now, and no amount of absurdly outdated insults is going to change that.

To be fair we send our kids to school by threat of force too.

Stop sending your kid and see how fast you end up in court
