Brown and Berry are are highest per 247. Not sure about rivals - but I'm assuming 247 is doing that based on their composite system.
I remember LWS saying (I’m pathetic defense of Phil) that we would never get a player as highly ranked as Eric Berry again. Like a month later Bryce Brown commits. Hilarious.
Kaidon Salter 4* QB Cody Brown 4* RB Aaron Willis 4* LB Amarius Mims 5* OT Katron Evans 4* DT These are all guys that Tennessee has a very good chance at landing
Add Kaemen Marley 4* ATH Naquan Brown 4* OLB Plus, I think a few of the kids they already have will get a bump up.
Page, I think, is going to Clemson, but we are on their tails with him. Ritzie may be on to North Carolina, too. However, there has been a lot of prospects suddenly chirping about Tennessee on social media. The staff has used this shutdown exceptionally effectively.
Some of the guys we have committed now are the kind of guys that others want to join. Seems like it just snowballs sometimes. If there is a season and we play well I’d imagine this class will be pretty great.
To me, this is an example of what a recruiting staff on their game does. This is for the Salter kid, a QB from Texas. It reminds me of a Saban story I heard. On the way to a recruiting visit, he found out the assistant with him didn't know the name of the recruit's grandmother. He pulled over the car and made him get out. Recruiting is everything in this game.
It’s one thing to call and wish the little sister a happy birthday. It’s another to make her social media famous for a day. These dudes are on top of shit.
The high profile recruits collectively talking about UT on twitter right now...this is the first I’ve ever seen of this.
While we’re at it let’s get JT Daniels, win 10+ games, redshirt Harrison Bailey, and [uck fay] shit up like it’s the 90s.
