Keep in mind TAMU played 2 days after the SEC championship game. The tournament needs to move to conclude on Saturday, and teams ought to have the option to opt out without penalty. Sankey needs to be fighting for the SEC. The SEC is not getting a fair shake.

 

Let's also notice that Williams coached a lot of places before coming to the SEC. He sees and feels the bias against the conference. It is a suppression in favor of bigger, "traditional" national powers rather than a meritocratic process. I want sunlight on the whole process. Anyone ought to apply a metric to come up with the field.

Idk about CBS but I do suspect them of doing a little made-for-tv stuff. Certain matchups every year seem to line up.

I remember when UK wouldn’t play WKU when they were the little Kentucky school that could punch up enough to beat them. Idk if they’ve had a similar policy with Murray or not.

Yes, they straight refuse to schedule Murray State. Funny thing is that in 2001 Kentucky finally caved on playing Western. They had refused to play them just like they do Murray now. Western came to Rupp and beat the Wildcats. Kentucky hasn’t scheduled them since.

 

I miss the pre Cal Wildcats. Pearl should have beaten them more
