100% of the time when you’re on 3rd and less than 2 outs you go back to the bag to tag as soon as you see a ball in the air, and you stay there until either it’s caught or you know for sure it’s going to fall. 10 year olds know this.
Same 3rd base coach as last year? Something is amiss. He’s gotta be reminding the runner nonstop how many outs and be on the bag to tag up. Burke has to as well but doubt he’s been on 3rd in that situation in awhile.
Burke's (or 3BC) decision to go to third was almost as bad as the play at home. They initially called him out then reviewed and overturned it but no idea how they overturned it based on what they were showing us. Couldn't see anything.
We should go back to hitting 12 bombs a game so we don't have to worry about base running. I wonder if the coaches have considered this strategy.
