I think LSU may be playing the Vols wrong. They're packing it in and playing zone (I think) and the Vols like to shoot 3's.

Almost a professional-like performance the first half in simply getting the job done in the first half while remaining in about 3rd gear.

Notice Phillips is shooting more of a set type shot from 3 than elevating

 

Nkamhoua got the ole "[uck fay] your game" from the refs with those two rapid fouls. "blocking foul" that was questionable, then a "moving screen" that was pretty dang questionable. Oops, guess you're done for awhile.

We very much need a healthy JJJ and Santi if we are going to do anything in the tournament. They do so much important stuff and it's less likely for us to have both of them struggle offensively in a game than other pair of players wearing orange.

Also, Zakai is a starter. He just is.

 

LSU tapped out once they couldn't get it under 15 in the first few minutes.
