Indy, we have to sign permission waivers at our kid's school to have any third party take their picture. I'm sure something similar might be in effect here.

Yeah, taking pictures makes it seem like we're doing it to build a promotional catalog. I say we just just hand over the tickets and let the folks enjoy them in peace.

You're probably right. Just seemed like it'd be neat to have a thread on here with a bunch of pictures of kids enjoying the game. oh well.

If the parents or guardians who take the kids to the game send us some to show how things turned out, that's cool. I'm just not in favor of asking it be done.

Totally goofed and forgot about this. Is it too late to donate? If not, I'll send some money as soon as I'm off bus duty this morning.

No, sir, it is not too late. I'm accepting donations until 10:00am EST, as I need to have enough time to order / print / deliver the tickets.

    UPDATE -

Have been ordered, paid for, printed off and await delivery. There were 19 tickets cost $218.50 (UTTix added a $1.50 fee to the purchase)

    The BBBS Tickets
Have been ordered, paid for, printed off and await delivery. There were 10 tickets cost $115.00 (UTTix added a $1.50 fee to the purchase)

Thus far, we have spent $335.50 of the $690 donated dollars, leaving a balance of $354.50, which will be used to purchase roughly 34 tickets for Vine Middle School.

WHILE WE HAVE REACHED OUR INITIAL GOAL, DONATIONS MAY STILL BE MADE UP TO 10:00AM EST THIS MORNING - AND ALL OF THOSE MONIES WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TICKETS TO VINE MIDDLE SCHOOL.

Yes, sir. It was haphazard copying and pasting on my part, which has since been corrected. Thanks for letting me know.

    UPDATE

I just purchased 30 tickets for Vine Middle School, have printed them off and will be delivering them shortly.

The total cost for the tickets was $345.00, and when coupled with our earlier purchases (19 for DCS, and 10 for BBBS = $335.50) - we've spent $680.50, purchasing 59 tickets.

There is approximately 25 dollars of donated funds which remain, and which will be used for the purchase of tickets for next week's game (if Tennessee wins tonight), or refunded, in full.
