Warrant issued for obstruction of justice. Mercy, driving old boy out and shooting him execution style.
Those guys are scary, very scary. If he's mixed up with them with all he has, he could quite possibly be in the running for some kind of dumbest person in the world award.
The Mexican drug cartels are freaking scary as well. I'm probably pretty naive on the subject, but the power and reach they hold in the US shocks me. I'm not necessarily a proponent of across the board legalization of drugs, but I don't see any other way of combating the issue.
How could RICO application help? Serious question. I'm interested in learning something here. As long as there's a market for illegal drugs, they're be a group willing to do whatever it takes to fill the demand.
It would take a lot of work and a willingness of the government to actually fully complete the job, but it's really getting to be the only solution.
The govt can make a catch all law to deal with them like RICO. The key would be finding the proper sanctions. Deportation and having them come right back is not gonna work. Also, we would have to figure out forfeiture for the major players not in country.
