Maybe, but people said the same about Ray Lewis. And look what OJ walked with against him. Money buys a lot of things, including freedom.
This appears to have more evidence of a cover up than lewis. OJ only happens because it's an LA court jury. If it was tried in Santa Monica, where the jurisdiction was, he'd have gotten the lethal injection by now.
I haven't read enough of the story, so I may be way off here, but is it possible that the body was dumped in the woods, but murder could have taken place at AH's home? I'm trying to understand why he had his house professionally cleaned and destroyed his surveillance system.

Just guessing but I'm gonna go all Matlock and say they did a few lines and started drinking tequila and someone remembered some money the victim borrowed previously.
they could easily have tracked blood into the home and/or the surveillance system had outside video. Just speculating.
But unless someone has confessed i'm not sure how the police could know that hernandez didn't do anything.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say,I bet Hernandez killed the guy for a good reason but......you can't take the law in your own hands approach......
The longer this goes on, the less I feel like they have on him. Seems to me like the warrant is merely a bluff at this point, and they don't know what was in his house or on his phone or recorded on his security system, so they're struggling to even prove obstruction at this point. And everybody who knows something has shut the fvck up. That said, I know of murder investigations what I see on TV, which is to say, nothing.
