It will probably also totally shutdown VQ, TOS, and TOOS.

Red Alert will commence as soon as Rex gets a hold of this.

i've never understood this logic. i love me some aaron rodgers, but if he was hired as cal's head coach i'd be in meltdown mode.

Peyton as an offensive coordinator would be scary. I'm just not sure he could get all the audibles down to the QB in time to make much of a difference. The man can read a defense, though.

I can see Peyton in the the Larry Bird role as head coach, constantly one step from losing it because he can't comprehend why players can't do it exactly the way he told them.

BUT... Larry was a fine fine coach.

I think Peyton possesses the qualities to teach people... that's more than you could say for someone like Isaiah Thomas or Mike Singletary.

I don't see him being patient enough to coach anyone myself.

He would be worse than Spurrier on QBs

Damn straight. The question is, would he start out as a position coach or dive straight in to OC?

I actually do think it would be cool to be Peyton coaching Tennessee someday. Obviously I'm not saying Manning should replace Dooley, but I do think he has the potential to be a successful quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator. It's hard to really have any idea if he could be a head coach, and Tennessee would be insane beyond belief to roll the dice on him like that, but it is cool to think about.

He could have whoever he wanted by simply stepping foot inside the house and announcing himself.

FWIW...I'd settle for Cooper after 2011.

    I'd take Olivia over Dooley.

How'd that logic work out for Clyde Drexler?

Mike Singletary was/is a very, very good position coach.

    Singletary gets a bad rap.
