Bama v. Oklahoma

Woke up to the great news. Put a smile on my face. I am about 2/3 thru flight. Just under 4 fours to go.

 

My kids were unaware of the result. I noticed the local paper had the headline "Oklahammered" on the front page as we walked into a Chinese place for lunch. I pointed it out to the wife, and my daughter asked what that meant. I told her as she passed through the vestibule into the restaurant inciting a "Yes!" and a fist pump from both her and her brother as they passed in.

 

Saban playing TJ Yeldon and Kenyan Drake over Derrick Henry is by far the worst decision he's made at Alabama. That's as bad as Fulmer playing Mark Levine over Jamal Lewis. But even Fulmer didn't need the whole 1997 season to recognize and correct that mistake.

 

He was recovering from a broken leg early in the season. Drake is still the best back though. Yeldon has not impressed this year.
