Honestly, if you -- and I'm referring to all readers and potential readers of this thread -- freaking love Nickelback, shout it from the treetops. Let it be known. Make it cool to like Nickelback just because you like them. I personally hate Nickelback, but I like plenty of bands that society now deems uncool. I like Coldplay, for example. Tell the world. Me no care. I like Vanessa Carlton, and I wish she was still making albums. Michelle Branch too -- she had some catchy tunes. I still like Kings of Leon, even though they stopped being cool in like 2007. Name an 'uncool' band. I'll tell you what I think of them. I cannot tell a lie. Making unpopular claims/statements have never been a problem for me. I like Photograph by Nickelback because I can get 5 golden stars playing it on Rock Band.
I think that's one of the worst songs in the history of the world. Right up there with various other Nickelback songs. But by God I respect that you're willing to admit you like it.
I've played it sitting around the fire pit before at a party. Not that it was my intention, but that song will draw the attention of stray.
Thanks for the compliment,I guess, but I really don't give a shit what people think about what I like. And I mean that as a statement of fact not as a smartass.
The video for RockStar makes me laugh. The amount of b list celebrities that are now irrelevant cracks me up
Herbert Von Karajon. I listen to him about once week on the ride home. Charleston has some the worst bottle neck traffic and keeps me from road rage. Best rendition of Beethoven's 9th out there IMO. The same piece is on YouTube.
Nothing. They were a decent late 70s early 80s band. My friend thinks they were the pinnacle of music.
Had to wiki it, but she still is. This is pretty great off her album a couple years ago:
