I was there to see it. Their first drive took ten minutes off the clock.

I still think they have earpieces in helmets.

Bradshaw had 17 carries for 72 yards and was the top rusher. Eli threw it 40 times.

It was in the NFC championship that Eli threw 58. Neither are power football

Yes, they flustered Brady. I have nothing against defense. I like it quite a bit.

So you don't have a point at all? Just an observation that Oregon lost?

No I'm not stating that as it would be incorrect.

Which Super Bowl are you talking about? I'm talking about 07 and I believe you're talking about 11

Is the point that gimmick offensive teams win some regular season games but never win anything of significance? And, has that not been the case?

    Innovation doesn't win rings?

    Bill Walsh disagrees.

    1. Every offense is a gimmick of some kind.
    2. Florida 08 was a gimmick offense, as you would describe it, and they did quite well, as I recall.
    3. If your thought process is that the offense that Nick Saban runs must be superior because he wins championships, then you're ignoring his overwhelming talent advantage on both sides of the ball.

There can be no doubting that Walsh made that offense his own.

Cliff Notes - Alabama, Stanford greater than Oregon, Baylor.

    Oregon lost against LSU
    Oregon lost against Auburn
    Oregon lost against Stanford
    Oregon lost against Stanford again.

And if the point of Groves, Hat, or yourself is that offensive ingenuity is insufficient to overcome a massive talent disparity, then I can't disagree.

The fourth graders are always going to have a tough time beating the fifth graders.

The 08 UF o was a power running team. Everything was based off Tebow keeping it.
