Is it normal for a big time celebrity like Cosby to be in a prison like that, even having been convicted of a serious crime?

 

I thought I read today that he would be going to a prison with a geriatric wing and/or low security but that article doesn’t sound like this.

 

I am sure he will get special treatment eventually, as soon as we stop paying attention. And will be out within 3 years.

 

I'm not exactly advocating for him to be coddled, but it seems like people of his stature typically are.

 

He supposedly is allowed a 30 minute standup routine per day.

 

And then a bendover routine the rest.

 

Tough crowd.

 

Was clearly a racist process.

And just like that he's a free man.

Fortunately the damage has been done to his reputation and and his wallet.

I know that probably doesn’t mean much to the victims but at least in the court of public opinion, he’s untouchable.

 

Would like a lawyer to weigh in on how reasonable or unreasonable the release is. From what I read there was basically a no-charge agreement with Cosby that a new DA didn't honor? Seems weak to me.

 

This was the issue. And granted, it's a legitimate overturn IMO. Blame the prosecutor.

 

as disappointing as it was predictable.

The prosecutor ought to take his place, because this does look like a legit overturn. like life, money finds a way.
