I've seen two robberies in person. Both were in Barcelona.

 

And LA? Each have their "stay away" areas.

 

He lives in North Hollywood on Radford, near the In-and-Out Burger...

Seriously z-s, you're an idiot, LA is the absolute greatest place in the universe. This isn't opinion on a subjective matter. It's absolute fact, and to disagree with it is moronism on a Dooleyan level.

For real, no one's ever been robbed or shot in LA.

 

Please, don't throw around the D word. It better be a pretty G/D impressive in Lower Alabama. I've never been to Lower Alabama, but I worked with a contractor that said it was pretty nice, then spit a mouth full of tobacco juice out onto the sidewalk

 

LA's stay away area isn't 3 blocks from the center of the city and it's nightlife. Barcelona doesn't have a non stay away area.

The stretch between LA Live and USC isn't exactly paradise.

Really?? In truth, crime of sort of any degree can happen anywhere at anytime.

 

I lived in Philly for 6 months and didn't prefer it. I lived in San Diego for 9 months and hated it.

I love NYC / Chicago and DC, but have only visited, never lived there.
