He’s had a couple good freshmen, but outside of that, he’s had far less talent than a team like Duke has. And Coach K also has 2 Final Fours since 2004. Self has also been far better than Roy was in the same job.

 

Worked under Tony Barone for quite awhile too.

Far better? Yeah he won a national title so that certainly puts him above Williams, but he certainly hasn’t been far better. Winning percentages are pretty much even avd Roy has double the FF appearances.
