No, 180 people have died. Not of 10k. Of 7 mil or how ever many people are in Tn. In Tn, if 1200 die in an accident this year and 600 die from CV, 25-50 year old male is more likely to die in a wreck than getting the virus and dying from it. Not even debatable.
TT im not arguing with your knowledge or stats. Just comparing a possible number of 1000 killed vs 5 or 600, which to me would be obvious as to what is most dangerous for me, wife and 2 teenagers driving and it aint covid, as well as the vast majority of posters here. And its just a topic of discussion. Bored
How many were my age and healthy in the car accidents? Seems kind of weird for you to throw out those two numbers and then act like they don’t matter.

If you have an entire year of normal behavior (since that is what we are talking about here - opening up, going to football games, etc.) - and 1200 people over that year died in a car accident and of the same group 600 die from CV, then I would agree with you that it is more likely you die in a car accident. But, you also just made two numbers up. I took the best numbers I could find in an attempt to correctly account for the risk posed by each, in addition to one assumption (10% chance of catching CV over a 4 month period) - and it's worth noting with how this thing spreads - it is highly unlikely your risk of infection is just 10% over 4 months of normal mobility/not locked down. Taking those numbers (including the conservatively low 10% number) and comparing them tells me that if I'm over 40, the chances are greater that I die of CV over 4 months of unchecked interaction than I die in a car accident. If I'm under 40, more likely I die in a car accident (but if my chances are more like 30% of getting CV, then I need to be under 30 to be more likely to die in a car accident than of CV). This is of course for your average person - some are healthy, some aren't.
I'm betting there will be football in some form or fashion. There are just too many reason$ to have it.

I think its gonna happen. Don't believe everything is going to be the same as usual, but there's gonna be a season.
