Time to start casually looking over those B1G rosters for players that might wanna play this fall..........
If I am a B1G coach, I'm also furious because they have a huge strike against them in recruiting. "Well, Ohio State? Good school, but remember how quick they wanted to cancel football? You sure you want to go to a school where they'll quit so quickly?"
Sounds like the start of a super conference, imo. Invite Nebraska too since they aren't some [itch bay]es like the rest of the big 10 and tell everyone else to eat shit.
So success on this obviously looks like getting some sort of season in with minimal issues. What does failure look like? What would be the circumstances that would lead to the Pac 12 and Big 10 having made the right call?
pac 12 out too such cowards. nothing to do with safety. all to do with liability and not wanting negative publicity.
Meh. If it is Big 12, SEC, ACC, ND, and Nebraska in the Fall, I'll take whoever is still standing at the end of that and dare for the Big 10, Pac 12, and non powers to try to claim Ohio State's perfect season stacks up against that field of competition.
The point is if they were not included, they'd whine if they weren't considered for the title and would hold a lot of sway. I am not saying they are even relevant, as to me the national title winner ought to be a conference champion. I do admit that I have many flaws and will try to improve.
