Jesus, what happened to comic books? Of course, I haven't read any of them since the early 1990's when the whole comic industry was starting to go to shit.
I feel clarity every time I squeeze the trigger is one of the best lines I've heard from a super hero show
I like the season a lot (two more episodes left). While this rendition of the Punisher is way superior to the first Punisher movie, it is still running into the same pitfall as the second Punisher movie: Frank talks too much. The Punisher comics were mostly Frank thinking, narrating, etc. He didn't talk a lot to other characters. I feel like early on in the season they have him speaking way too much, which removes some of the mystique. Some of his lines are great, but they're watered down in a bunch of filler.
I also love the crossovers with Jessica Jones. As for the Punisher, I never read any of the comics with him in it, but I imagine the talking in the show is the only way to simulate narration that would not fit in with the Daredevil series.
I'm sure, but it's jarring. Would rather they just make him quiet and reveal his inner workings slowly.
I can't really decide how badass Elektra really is or not. I mean, she is, but seems kinda weak, like, her punches and kicks do
The Hand and the Chaste are mystical groups, so it does start to turn down the road of bizarre. But I like it.
