So....I just took a quick glance...but I'm pretty sure I am in royal shit with my pitching staff.

 

I feel pretty good about my team this year. We will see I guess.

 

I feel pretty good. Pitching staff should be dominant, but my offense might be anemic at times. I probably won't have Darvish and Kershaw back for at least two weeks so I might be slow starting out in my first couple games.

 

Impressive to have those guys. Did you check out my pitching? Lol

Not sure why auto draft started filling pitching slots so late.

 

Obligatory bump. One more week until playoffs. Looks like the 4th spot is the only one more or less not locked up right now.

 

Also, if I get enough positive feedback early next season I've given thought to turning this into a money league this year......but only if I get enough interest. Nothing crazy, just enough of a prize in the end to keep it interesting. The only ones that are still really keeping up with this are the ones that have a solid shot at making the playoffs....which is understandable, and it happened last year as well.

I do think a payout to 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd place will help stop the issue of people not checking their teams around the month of June or July though.

 

This just got really boring. I didn't really want to do it this year, but you needed another player. I'm out for next year.

 

It's not for everybody. Just thought it was odd since you seemed to enjoy it last year. Fantasy baseball is just a different animal than what fantasy football is.

For those still checking in, playoffs started yesterday.

 

The best way I've found is 25% prize for the first half, 25% for the second, and the remaining 50% for the season total. You're still going to have people draft and quit, but it should alleviate some of it.
