The craziness has to die down sometime but hasn't shown any signs of that happening yet. It's going to be another interesting couple of days at least.
Everyone is all gunched up about the possibility of Tee getting the gig but unless it just all goes to shit, I don't see that happening. It would be the cheap, easy way out and we'd be right back to square one in three years, only with a lot of hurt feelings and possibly a ruined career. Tee may end up being a fine HC some day but that day ain't today. We need a proven winner and we need him NOW. Fulmer has a golden opportunity to right several past wrongs here and he needs to take full advantage of it. He can be a real hero with the right hire.
Isn't it fantastic that it's SEC championship weekend with the #2 team in the country and a team that was #1 playing and it's a footnote to the Tennessee story? Jimbo Fisher takes the A&M job and it's barely newsworthy because all eyes are on us... poor, middling, measly old irrelevant us!!!
