I have been watching the returns and it is amazing the percentages have held steady ever since the first four precincts have reported in.

Black concedes. A win for Tennessee.

Are early votes included in these numbers?

Hey man if I had a vote it would have been for Randy Boyd but they say Lee is a good guy so that works too.

I guess Tennessee doesn't do a primary runoff if someone fails to reach 50%?

I always wonder why my home county cant doanything, and then I see election results from tonight and am reminded why.

Shelby county went hard on the D tonight.

    Mayor, Sherrif, some new commissioners.

    Diane Black carried the county.

    I don’t understand.

I assume Black carrying the county is simply a by product of the county being Democrat. I bet the D nominee carried more votes than Black did overall.

Weird that I hadn’t even heard of Bill Lee two weeks ago.

The D nominee got more votes than all the Rs combined.

The hidden meaning is the bifurcation. The county is blue, but the reds have gone full red in opposition.

We’ve been getting Bill Lee reading his bible ads for months.

He's been in the game a while, albeit as a donor/fringe guy. He'll be all right.

Am shocked at margin of victory though. Nearly 100K vote difference when all was said and done.

Does Lee's business operate outside of middle Tennessee? I didn't know who he was till I realized he was the owner of Lee Company then I knew.

He will be a standard, moderate, Tennessee governor. More than likely good for business.

I am so glad Diane Black lost, a few weeks ago I thought she had a decent shot at winning.
