Meh. They outplayed us for awhile (not the whole game though), but they never dominated.

Right. I think we generally understood the question coming into this year: could talent overcome coaching deficiencies to win 10+ games? That question was pretty clearly answered last night. Regression kicked progression's ass all over the field.

 

This is my whole deal. Is Botch a good recruiter and ambassador? Yes, he seems to be. But as you say, what good does it do to have a stacked roster if you can't coach and manage the team?

 

The o line was ineffectual to the point of bringing to mind Schrödinger's cat: if you look away from the play, are thee linemen still really there?

I think it was a combo of failure to adapt to pressure (team has shown that a lot) and a lack of preparation by the coaches. Underwhelming game.

We'll know exactly where we are in 2 more weeks after we play UF and App State hosts Miami.
