Hope: the OL could be the most improved unit on the team Fear: freshman corners and the lack of team speed to run Pruitt’s D
And we are going to have some busts in coverage. Especially early. My biggest fear is a bust that puts a questionable O in bad spots playing catch-up.
Just hope the team can appreciate the process, middle of the season is going to be rough, but you learn valuable lessons from getting your ass kicked. That said, Pruitt doesn't seem to be like his predecessors in that he's not walking out of that tunnel on any Saturday expecting to lose. It's not going to be a particularly fun ride but I expect the team that comes out against Vanderbilt will be a hell of a lot better than the one that plays in Charlotte.
I think our secondary even though we are young are in the best hands in college football outside of Saban. Hopefully that helps these guys play a little ahead of their class rank.
We’ve got a dude that can gameplan. And he’s got dudes that can help with adjustments. I expect much better second halves this year.
I hope we beat WVs ass in the 110 heat index. I fear we will revert to loser mentality and Richmond with overheat on the first drive. I hope all the reps all the players get pays off for depth and multiple ballplayers. I fear we are be like Urban and forget what we now know.
If the OL is legit the games shouldn't last as long. This bunch needs a jolt. If they get one or both of WV and UF it will go a long way toward this bunch buying what hes selling.
I know we expected a lot more attrition from this team after the spring. Makes me think he has their attention. Even with realistic expectations...I don’t know how I’ll handle a loss to WV.
