Hopes and fears for the upcoming season

My fear would be the unknown in Tyson Helton. We know there will be hiccups everywhere but I have no doubt the defense will be coached well. Philosophically I think what they want to do on offense is fine we just don’t have much to go on.

 

That’s Nick Saban’s main defensive philosophy. I would bet Pruitt will put an emphasis on it as well.

 

The last time we were generally well-coached was kiffin’s staff and it took them a month or so into the season before it really took hold. I won’t be surprised if it’s not like that this season

 

My honest hope is I can stay somewhat detached from my fandom as the back to back doses of crap coaching has made it a necessity to do so. This is at least until there is something genuinely worth getting excited about. My fear is that some of you optimistic [uck fay]ers around here have rubbed off on me.

 

I really hope our team still sprints to the other end of the field at the end of each quarter. So intimidating...

 

I also hope the soap that butch uses to wash windows leaves his hands dry and cracked.

 

My hope is that there are 100,000 babies born in Tennessee with the middle name Pruitt in the next 5 years.

 

I hope there’s grape jelly for my peanut and jelly sandwiches

 

I have no idea what this means, but I think I like it. Hell yeah!!!!! Go Vols!!!!

 

I hope Harrah's at Cherokee gets a visitor this week.

 

I fear having to bite my tongue again after playing UF (Live in FL)
I hope we finally have a coach that can recruit and coach a game from start to finish

 

I'm to the point where I have settled that UT is, and will continue to be, an average to below average football program. And I almost don't care.
