Pruitt’s defenses improve consistently year to year everywhere he’s been. Just pray the Tuttle stays healthy.
There's enough talent for 7 or 8 wins. Health is key. If the light switch goes off for Kongbo (I'm not holding my breath) this defense gets a lot better quickly.
I hope we play good old fashioned, WGWYA Tennessee football. After the goat rodeo that we witnessed last year and given my advanced age, I ain't a feared of shitz. I think these boys will play to win for real.
I hope our top recruits see enough good things to commit to us and fear Helton can't do shit with JG.
My hope is we try to control games with the run game and are successful, and that we wear teams down in the second half, because we have 4 good backs to run. I dont fear anything, and I think that's the way this staff is coaching and leading this team. And its wearing off on me. Even though we have a little ways to go, I am going in to the season knowing we're at least gonna line up on both sides of the ball and try to just whip people. It may not show up as favorably as we like on the scoreboard this year, but the old school football mentality is coming back.
I know I did. And its a good sign short term that they didn't. Lotta unknown. How good is WV. How much progress can UT make in a spring and fall camp. First games are always interesting.
No fear, other than my fear that we will actually kill some poor player on the other team on the field.
I hope that Pruitt has as good of a result on the field as the impression he's made during spring & pre-season drills. After 15 years of being kicked in the jimmy, I fear he won't. I feel like a gun shy dog in a duck blind right after 5 hunters unloaded 15 shots from 12 guage shotguns on a flock of geese right now. I need to join a battered fan support group or something.
