My understanding is that they have gone onto private property and vandalized and stolen material. Doesn't sound like your normal cup of tea.
I saw that they found it again after moving it out of Greenville, and scaled a building to get to it. But admittedly, I haven't read much beyond that. London, maybe? Definitely in the UK. I think it amusing that it was in Green County, and that I sort of know the people, but really, it's the freaking detective work that is most extraordinary. Bringing the flag down and putting up a MAGA hat - funny shenanigans. They lose me if they go much beyond that.
It has been in the spirit of a prank. I fear that things will escalate. What happens when someone actually defends the flag? Retaliation. Play war becomes violent.
Also, as a point of order, he clearly did divide us, and saying he will not is an eyelash away from a trump campaign slogan. Jeez, artsy actors. Get it together.
