    There's a lot of smoke around it. I don't know if there's a fire.

The fire will be the burning mattresses in Knoxville.

Well, we can all breath easier now as they have gone with Todd Graham of Pitt.

Got to love when a coach tells his team he's leaving via a text message to his Director of Football Ops. Got to say we've got a new clubhouse leader for worst football coaching exit of all time.

To be fair to Graham, he was only at Pitt because they hired a drunk.

not exactly a hire that is going to invigorate the fan base

What's the deal at ASU? From afar, it would seem that would be a decent place that could continually attract good coaches.

zero recruiting base. fanbase is very fickle and there arent' tons of huge donors. low academic standards and decent facilities though. no coach has really won there consistantly since they joined the pac-12. at some point you have to ask why. but this time around they seemed to want to hire someone on the cheap and the AD has zero experience hiring head coaches.

That's what happens when your hardest previous decision was what color of a kitchenaid mixer to buy.

That's because John Cooper foolishly chose to leave a burgeoning power to deal with unrealistic expectations at Ohio State. If he stays, the history of both ASU and the league is very different.

The deafening laughter you hear is coming from the football offices on campus in Tucson.

    Goofy hire. Graham's a buffoon.

Exactly. Hell, I'd probably rather have June Jones than this guy.

Justin you were all over this...you did say he would stay in the end but your original theory a team would come knocking was correct...
