the spread of gov't services to the illegals crowd is certainly not an old problem. That's the part that's breaking the bank. Can the mandated freebies and I don't give a crap.

Well, I've not heard the R's use amnesty as a way to fix the problem, just the Dem's. Has that ever been on the R's table?

I don't think I would compare what that law did, to what a true sweeping amnesty law would do today. They did it for different reasons, did they not, versus what is going on today?
