I had heard we were looking for an AD at a school with a football program. I suppose this qualifies.

I'm efforting to find out more as I type.

 

Apparently, it's Dave Hart, not David. Posters on VQ say he runs the show at Bama and is the guy primarily responsible for bringing in Saban. Whether that's true, I have no idea.

He was at FSU at one time. Don't know about the issues.

Bama grad. Don't know how much that will play into his decision making. He's basically COO of Bama athletics.

 

Don't know much about him but if he was/is responsible for some key hires, I'm hopeful.

I understand Blackburn quitting if he got passed over. I'm not sure why he would be fired.
