Likely mushrooms - although I’ve never heard of anyone doing that....but then, it’s not that I’m any authority, either. If not mushrooms, maybe sausage - they use cut links and which get bulbous when cooked, so maybe that gave it a roundish-like look. Those are my best BAG’s.
