http://www.knoxnews.com/govolsxtra/...s-positive-request-worth-considering_62191271 Tried to copy Beecher's post but it didn't work. Figured this deserved it's own conversation.
Apparently this guy doesn't understand that when the local media is going against you, your days are numbered. Especially here in Knoxville.
poll on the site: Do you consider Tennessee’s close win over South Carolina a positive? 70% say yes. ha ha
Dude, you are a Cal fan. You just don't understand how hard it is to play in front of a home crowd of 102K+. The distractions before the game are enormous. There are people around you. PEOPLE! How the hell can you expect a 60 minute focused game when you have PEOPLE AROUND YOU??? The fact that they won is proof that Butch ****ing Jones is taking us to the promised land.
You're all a bunch of *******s. Everyone at a home game expects you to win. Do you know what kind of pressure that is when you're not very good at your job. Everyone knows, always better to play and lose on the road.
I get that it's nice to come away from any conference game with a victory, but how the hell is them even being in that game with a chance to win at the end a positive?
Nail on the head. He is insecure and he knows he doesn't belong. He's had to hide behind a charade his whole life. It caught up to him at Cincy and it's doing the same thing here. Except here, people actually give a shit.
Yes. "We didn't blow this one. Huge step." That SC team (that Spurrier dropped mid season) is now a great team. They are on scholarship.
jesus, Droski. You just don't understand. USCjr lost to KY...AT HOME. The Home Field Distractions in the SEC are so overwhelming, they lost at home to Kentucky. Yet, YET, we WON at home. What don't you understand??
