After glancing at a few threads on TOOS, it seems like we're getting Kiffin-esque talent on campus the next couple weeks. Time to break out the wallet.
Yeah, it's going to be huge to have an actual full year to recruit some of these guys. Especially if we win some games this year.
Found this little gem in the twitterverse. Good player they are going after. https://twitter.com/MoschettiLM/status/302098575503015936/photo/1
Got this from another board. Not sure how updated it is. Nice list of visitors quote: Visitors 5* RB Jalen Hurd (Hendersonville, TN) 5* ATH Bo Scarbrough (Tuscaloosa, AL; Alabama commit) 4* DB Todd Kelly, Jr. (Knoxville, TN) 4* WR Josh Malone (Gallatin, TN) 4* DB Evan Berry (Fairburn, GA) 4* RB Nick Chubb (Cedartown, GA) 4* DB D.J. DT and OL are the hardest players to scout. A lot of 3 stars at those positions end up being really good.
But now I see that there are only 2 players listed at those positions visiting and understand what you meant now.
@Sabanocchio: Starting to beef up the weekend with a couple of new OL prospects: TN OL Zack Stewart (2015) GA OL Horatio Walker VA OL Coleman Thomas
@Sabanocchio: Dewayne Hendrix is a Memphis guy who is a candidate for an on the spot offer this weekend. Grew up a UT fan. 4* DE. #231 player per Rivals.
Agreed. Another very strong year in-state. Between Tennessee and North Carolina alone I would hope this staff could pull a very impressive class. North Carolina is absolutely loaded, no reason not to get some big-time guys out of there with both Graham and Thigpen having such strong ties to that state.
The only thing that is disappointing is the lack of players from NC and VA expected in. NC especially with the strong ties this staff's two best recruiters have to that state. I still wish they would have hired Latrell Scott as WR's coach because of his VA ties. The guy would have been a monster on the recruiting trail for the Vols there.
