Every time I see that 97 class I just shake my head at how good all three of those guys were in college.

I think Elijah Hood will be the best back of this year's class imo. Kid has that Travis Henry, can't tackle him, build.

Agree. And, for two of the three, it worked out well at the next level.

    Tennessee is cursed...

Really, though, it's rare to sign two premier backs in one class especially when one grew up a UGA fan and UGA is recruiting him heavily.

If we are to return to SEC / National prominence & relevance, competing for Conf Championships, BCS Bowls, and be mentioned in the same sentence when discussing Nat'l Title contenders it's time we break that curse.

I can see Hurd, Paulk and another TB (one not as highly regarded) being signed for 2014.

    Hurd is next level.

I hope he stays around the 6 foot mark.

He's a phenomenal athlete that's going to be playing college ball for an elite team, you just don't see many 6' 3" TBs.

Aside from Franco Harris, Calvin Hill and Eric Dickerson you are correct, particularly lately.

Chris Brown was a beast at CU.

Brandon Jacobs had a few good seasons in the NFL.

Hurd looks like Arian Foster to me, just a step quicker

Good pulls...I think Jacobs is also 6'4". I'd take another Foster. Loved Foster's Freshman year...too bad the rest of the offense sucked balls.
