Kevin Mouhon LB, GA

Yeah, I saw Mouhon once and never saw him do much of anything. I just assumed I had too little of a sampling and was missing something.

 

He's good - potentially the best LB commit we have - a lot of people saying he's really undervalued and could shock some people. And that saying some since Bates is a top 50 player. Mouhon is a top 250 guy though so it's not totally out of no where. Then there are others that think he's about right where he should be or a bit too high.

 

He dominated in the playoffs this year.

 

Ya he's beastmode - some even go as far as saying he's the best of the big 3 on his team.... And Lorenzo Carter is on that team.

This would be a huge blow just like Lambert.

 

A soft psyche cannot be overcome with any degree of talent, at least for long, or with any degree of consistency.

We've got plenty of players who are afraid to compete, as it is. And even one is too damned many, IMO.

I don't follow recruiting like you and many others, for sure, but I don't care if he's a physical specimen who is devastating the high school ranks - if he's concerned by the notion of about having to beat out someone at this level, then I see his loss from this class as addition by subtraction.

 

So is he gone for sure, or is it just speculation?

 

There is a lot more to it than speculation.
