Honestly, no greater than 40% right now. Still don't know about a QB. While we need to run it 70% or greater, we still need a QB who can make a play. Still skeptical on DBs going against this team. And while I expect we bring the house from everywhere, first time against a spread team, I expect screw ups, and don't know if DBs can recover.
I know, I am just saying that the 10 points bit kinda distorts what it means about the possibility of a win outright.
Could be 2 fluke plays but we shove them all over the field after getting shoved around for years. I'd take that.
i'm more focused on how we play and look than the W or L first game. If we look the way we need to the W's will come. I remember a good W to start out the year a few years ago against NC St and another against VT. People got fired up and they both meant anything but more wins to come.
Something that gives me pause is the number of transfers they have. Like the db who got hurt-- there are two quality transfers since last year at that position.
Just got this feeling we are gonna come after Grier and make him get rid of the ball, know where hes going to dump it and be there waiting. They will throw a lot of bubble and quick stuff. Hoping not to see 3 wrs out wide and UT match with 2 dbs like last year.
