SIAP. It looks like it may be over before it begins for Lattimore. Much respect to #21. Maybe he can go back to SCjr and get his degree. Best of luck in the future, whatever that future may be. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...imore-may-be-abandoning-his-comeback-attempt/
His leg getting mangled a few years ago was about the most sickening thing I have ever seen. I screamed out loud when it happened. Hope he makes it good somewhere at something.
Yeah that shit was nasty and I've never watched it again. I can remember three injuries that made me sick to my stomach: Lattimore, Theisman, and Prothro
I had a Theisman type injury happen right in front of me when I was coaching against Seymour in '98ish. It was one of their players. It took me a few seconds to gather myself before I could go try to help the kid. Best of luck to Lattimore.
I didn't particularly like the hit Eric Gordon gave Lattimore, either, with him going at the knees of a guy wrapped up by a defender. Maybe that's not fair of me, though.
Heard some of these stories on our alumni trip in Italy. Guy on the trip was a firefighter. Pretty nasty stuff. Worst one involved a drugged up fat lady and a lot of feces.
You just ruined my breakfast. The one that caused me to walk away wasn't gory. It was heartbreaking and enraging.
