Message Boards = the death of recruiting

We bought our first computer, a beautiful Packard-Bell, from Sears in 1994.

 

Was online for the first time in 96 at home, good ole Mindspring.
Discovered chatrooms shortly thereafter and would do what we now call "troll" them with a few friends from school nightly. Death threats were quite popular back then.
Went to this chat site called WBS alot. They had this new real time JavaScript streaming chat that was mind blowing.. We figured out some script on how to exploit usernames and take over peoples chat names and post as if it were them. Those were the crazy days of the old internets. Then WBS was bought out by the GO network aka Disney, ABC ESPN. Guess I came full circle.
