You know it is bad when all I am reading is people going "This is bullshit." or "I am not a TN fan, but this is bullshit" or even "I am a Bama fan and I hate Tennessee, but this is bullshit". I have not read anyone other than the usual goobers defending this. At all.
How can someone be objective if they are dependent on favors of early scoops? Why would a regulatory body be giving scoops? That alone ought to be a scandal. A fair unbiased body ought to be announcing this kind of thing in a public press release, not as anonymous sources.

Imagine being the NCAA and deciding that you need to pick a school to go after for NIL violations and deciding to pick the school with a slightly unhinged fan base that prides itself on being crazy drunk rednecks, has a fight song about murdering federal agents, and with Boyd/Plowman/White running the show. I feel like we are the one school not to pick a fight with on this and the NCAA decided to go all in.
And the state's attorney general also doesn't necessarily care about sports in general, but detests antitrust doings.
