Honestly, I think the whole thing is going to be a free for all. You've got 5 teams in each conference that could win it if they got hot.
Fangio out at Denver… with Harbaugh basically begging to get out of Michigan, would he be a fit for the Broncos? Other coaches out of left field to consider: Kiffin. He’d kill it there if QB development is a determining factor in the next hire. He’s also somebody who would do well to get out of their current job before it goes south on him. Gruden. It’s doubtful, but maybe the email stench has died down enough for folks to take a more objective look at him… if AB can get another job, no reason to think that bottom-line minded GM’s wouldn’t at least kick the tires… I’m sure there are other, way more imminently qualified guys to consider but since this is a message board and message boards are populated by loonies with whacko opinions, I wanted to get the party started right…
Gruden is untouchable. And I am glad we have an extra game in the season. We get to watch garbage nonames play in January instead of August
Well, I feel safe in saying the Packers will not have a third straight HOF QB once Rodgers retires/leaves. Our window is closing.
It won’t happen, but honestly it would be both smart and hilarious if the Raiders and Chargers mutually agreed to tank for a tie. It would get both teams in the playoffs without the risk of further injuries. Just take a knee every down.
I wonder if Goodell made a phone call explicitly telling them to not do anything remotely resembling this.
I think there are rules against it. Damn the NFL and their hatred of fun. This would’ve been awesome to watch.
