Rumor mill is saying that old Governor McAuliffe is going to dump state employees into Obamacare byr paying the penalty.

Is it just smoking and joking, or can he actually do this?

What is Obamacare based on, annual income?

he most certainly can do it. it's what had been predicted when the penalties came out and were obviously too low.

Great, so my I basically pay $150 a pay for my family and that includes vision and all that fun stuff.

What will Obamacare do to me?

Sounds like your whole budget is about to be reworked.

I have legitimate concern, is it based on income?

This last move was merely a money grab and I am whoring myself out for over time.

If you're subsidized depends on income, not the rate of plans. You will have a collection of plans that you will pick from, but they won't be anywhere close to 150 a month for a family.

    Significantly.

yes it's based on income, but the threshold is pretty damn low. I ran it for my assistant and she really didn't get much in the way of a discount despite two kids.

Not sure. On the exchange, each member is priced individually, so you'll have four bills. It won't be cheap. Subsidy is the entire deal or company offset.

Am I able to do a dry run to see what I would pay?

I have no idea what is truth and what is guys gossiping.

Same old routine of a democratic gov is elected and then all hell is going to break loose on public safety.

Sure you can. That's the only number the government gives out and not of those that have purchased plans.

With a tax credit that I may or mat not get, the cheapest Gold Plan is $603.00 a month.

    Good times...........

The Anthem Plan, which is who the state goes through currently, is $811.00 after the tax credit, if applicable.

    Good times..............

This is messed up, if we moved back to Henrico and took the pay cut my cheapest Gold plan would be $223.00 a month with a tax credit of $276.00.

It says my kids are not covered and I would have to get something through the marketplace for them.

The CBO report showing that ACA is really going reduce economic growth rates. Cutting 2.3 million full time jobs by 2021.

Well I didn't get to keep my doctor. I chose him as my PCP but when I get my card my PCP was a nurse practitioner who doesn't have an office where I live nor practices at my hospital. So there ya have it
