Butch and crew have done a fairly good job finding 3 star guys that can play.

Wolf, Sutton, Hall, Moseley was a 2 star, Butch recruited Justin Martin hard and got him placed when no one else would, the staff has an eye for talent, they just don't always know how to use it

A majority of these guys will get bumped to 4* just by offer list alone. A few have really shown out in camps too.

and if the guy doesn't take the step forward in his senior season that they are projecting, they have shown a willingness to cut bait.

I have a small amount of concern based on the 2016 class taking a step back, but Butch has earned the benefit of the doubt on three-stars in June. If the class is still full of three-stars in October, I'll worry

well I stand corrected re: Rivals ranking. (Doesn't really change my feelings about this recent "haul.")

 

All the instate guys are highly recruited and we now have a top 10 class to sell. It wasn't a dismal weekend.

Imma be quiet now. I'm just pessimistic. Hopefully you all can pull my stuff back up on signing day for a good laugh.

 

Bumphus, Bennett, Lawson and Jackson will probably be 4 star guys by signing day.

Fant would be a bigger prospect but instead of throwing him the ball, they hand it off to Maliek Gray.

 

Fant would likely be a 4 star if he didn't miss his junior year

 

My thoughts as well. It's only June and there is over 6 months left of recruiting. Basically it's the one thing he excels at.
