95% of every political difference that this country has could be solved by getting everyone to simply agree - and hold the belief, no matter which direction it cut, on any given subject or situation - that both parties are filled with every manner of shitty, self-serving, stupid, hypocritical, lying, back-biting, narrow-minded, short-sighted, do-nothing's. And even when you do seem to find the rare exception, it merely means that you haven't given it enough time, or dug deeply enough. And third party candidates aren't immune, either, in any regard. How anyone can still be surprised by any thought or action of any politician, however bat-shit crazy or counter-productive, amazes me. It's like stupidity is the central plank in every political platform.
