Pig Howard will not be a spring practice participant

They were counting every time he actually scored in Georgia OT replays.

Sounds more and more like he is gone for good. If so (and really even if not), the offense is going to see as much turnover as we've had in a long, long while. The only returning starts would be Marquez North, Brendan Downs, and Justin Worley. Downs is out for Spring and who knows if he'll reclaim his spot with the two freshmen we have in now. Worley has his share of competition, too.

 

Maybe not a bad thing for a fresh start.

 

Welp. Word on the street is Dontavious Blair lost out on some first team reps to a walk-on. That doesn't sound like good news.

 

That fat **** needs to get it in gear.

 

Right now, it's a motivational move. If he's still losing reps a week from now, the offensive line is in trouble

Don't think Pig will be back. Sad, but we have better talent than him now.

 

Who? An unproven true freshman, a JUCO, Cody Blanc, Josh Smith, Johnson and Jason Croom?

It sucks to lose him.

 

Unproven freshmen is my pick. Johnson isn't too bad.

 

We are better with him and anyone pretending otherwise is fooling themselves.

 

Only because our roster is so bad. For every SEC play he made, he made 2 head scratchers. And if you wanna get technical, he cost is UGA and Vandy.

 

Refresh my memory, how did he cost us Vandy and Georgia?

 

I'd like for him to be around to have a guy in that unit with experience who can play a little bit, but I do think his playmaking ability is overstated sometimes.

 

We probably aren't even competitive against UGA without Pig. That was probably the best game of his career.

 

It would be nice to have someone capable of running the sweep, given that it is about 89% of Bajakian's offense.
