Eh. If we had started Hooker we'd be ahead.

 

Yep. The biggest reason we are behind right now is because Milton can't connect on deep balls that 95% of P5 QBs could hit. Difference in it being 10-0 after the first quarter instead of 21-0.

 

Don’t engage

 

The guy can’t get the play call in and his team lined up. Milton has a big edge with controlling the offense. It’s why he was starting.

 

Penalties so bad today.

 

Wow did we just get away with offensive PI?

 

Bad spot. hooker got that 1st.

 

That’s on Heupel for not challenging that spot. Also pretty stupid we don’t have a qb sneak under center package.

 

We should be winning, but we are playing way better than I ever envisioned we would after last week. Actually a fun watching this team

Referees really took control of that game

 

Robbed on that. Unreal

 

I know recency bias and all but I really can’t think of a worse performance from any referee crew that I’ve ever seen

 

The refs today were all time bad.

But we lost because:

Early bad qb play leaving a ton of points on the field.

About 400 yards in penalties.

Bad turnovers and not getting any turnovers.

Yet another team with a QB that can play. Why can we not find one?

The good:

Special teams coverage

Hard to say this when giving up 41 points, buy the defense was swarming and I enjoyed watching them play

 

Refs gave them at least a 10 point advantage.

 

Anyone with decency bias wouldn't have stuck with the Vols this long

 

Refs weren’t that bad.

 

They took that 1st down from Hooker at the end. Chumlee was too stupid to challenge it though.
