Play of the year

Turnovers aren't anything new to UT, though. They were just fortunate to fall on a lot of fumbles earlier in the year.

 

I'd be curious to know the highest number of turnovers we've had in a win. Had we pulled that off Saturday, I'd have to think that would be a record.

 

Tennessee had 6 or 7 against Auburn in the 1997 SEC Championship game

 

Yeah but we'd still have run them off the field with 3 or 4, which isn't exactly great

 

It scrolled at that bottom that it was the most fumbles lost for UT since we lost 6 in 1971 vs UCSB, and we won that game 48-6.
