What sucks is next year they will be more talent, more experience, and deeper (as a team). And the QB competition is gonna be between 2 guys that couldn't take the job from Worley and a Fr.
Agree with Z27. It was a great summary and synopsis. Just giving you a hard time...my bad if it was taken any other way but just messing with you
Oh ye of little faith. Not only will those two be better, we will get a high tier QB transfer. He will have two years to play. See, here's how the Jones formula works. Recruit a bevy of high level WR and TE players. Get your hands on 2 or more quality RBs. What happens is quality and seasoned QBs see this and start salivating at the prospect of playing with a supporting cast which bolsters their stock for the NFL draft. Jones is an evil genius without being satanic like the red hued demon farther south of the great state of Tennessee. [So it is written, so it shall be.]
Hopefully next year will look like Clausens freshman year...where it was Matthews, then Suggs then Clausen took over. Except, hopefully Dormady will clearly be the best option and take the job from the beginning. But who really knows. I would be much more comfortable starting a true freshman behind an experienced OL and throw in a strong run game, and we shouldn't expect him to have to do too much early in the season. Hopefully he can progress as the year goes along. Only time will tell.
This year is about 6 wins and a bowl and setting up 15'. We re not arguing over who need to win east this year.
